Mechanical Design & 3D Models

The physical structure of Akku-Craft is what makes the "Modular" pillar tangible. The housing is not merely a box — it is a functional component of both the thermal management and electrical insulation system.

Enclosure Concept

All parts are designed to be 3D-printable, enabling rapid iteration and local production. This directly supports our decentralization goal: no factory required — just a 3D printer and basic tools.

Design Specifications

The models are optimized for FDM printing. For builds under high load, we recommend materials with good thermal resistance — PETG, ASA, or ABS. PLA is sufficient for prototyping.

Assembly Components

  1. Main Frame — Holds the cell holders and PCB.
  2. Wall — Encloses and protects the internal components.

Integration with Hardware

The internal layout is designed to minimize wire lengths. Shorter wires mean lower resistance and less heat generation.
